100% Pan Bakery & Café ($ | 3 min walk): Locally roasted coffee, homemade pastries, and friendly morning chatter from surfers heading to the beach.
El Food Parq ($ -$$ | 8 min wak/ 2 min drive): A family foodtruck park with a variety of different restaurnts, a bar with TVs, and space for large groups
Acacia Restaurante at Encuentro Surf Lodge ($$$ | 10 min walk/ 2 min drive): This breezy, open-air restaurant serves locally sourced fare with a farm-to-table twist. Perfect for post-surf brunch or a sunset cocktail surrounded by palms.
La Cabanas Rooftop Restaurant @ Las Golondrinas ($$$ | 8 min walk 3 min drive): Perfect for sunsets meals and cocktails with amazing views.
Bonsai Poke ($$ | 12-14 min walk/ 3 min drive): Beachside eats, cool beats, crafted cocktails, & good vibes. Poke bowls are amazing. Must try their fried chicken sandwich and selection of local beers
Pura Vida Encuentro ($$ | 12-14 min walk/ 3 min drive): The ultimate surf-side breakfast and lunch spot on Playa Encuentro, where you can dig into healthy bowls, fresh juices and hearty fare
Coconuts Restaurant ($$ | 5 min drive): Caribbean-fusion lunches, grilled fish, and cocktails under the palms.
La Casita de Papi: ($$$ | 8 min drive) A Cabarete icon known for its garlic shrimp and grilled lobster, and served steps from the ocean.
Ojo Beach Lounge: ($$ | 8 min drive) Start with ceviche, stay for the mojitos, and dance the night away when the DJ takes over.
Mojitos: ($$ | 8 min drive): Beachfront restaurant with international and dominican cuizine and as the name suggests - great mojitos.
Pomodoro Pizzería: ($$ | 8 min drive) Italian comfort food with front-row ocean views—don’t skip the wood-fired pizzas.
Drifter: ($$$ | 8 min drive) Equal parts lounge and restaurant, ideal for sunset cocktails and people-watching by the beach
Aura: ($$$ | 8 min drive) Known for its eclectic drinks this place pairs beachfront with miami club


Le Bistro ($$$ | 8 mins drive): A cozy French culinary gem tucked just off the main Cabarete beach—perfect for wine, seafood, and candlelight
Bliss Restaurant ($$$$ | 5 mins drive): Elevated Mediterranean dishes and romantic garden dining. Locals say it’s the best restaurant in Cabarete
Ali’s Surf Club Café ($$ | 11 mins drive): Lagoon front restaurant with bohemian surfer vibes known for grilled meats and savory fish dishes
Gordito’s Fresh Mex: ($$ | 8 mins drive): Famous for short order place for burritos, tacos, and the kind of salsa that demands a second round. Try the Mambo Fish Tacos—they’re practically legendary.
El Bodegon: ($$$$ | 8 mins drive): One of our new favorites - a taste of Argentina right in the heart of Cabarete.
Gypsy Bowls ($ | 7 min drive): TOne of our favorite coffee and healthy food restaurants. Offers smoothies, acai bowls, salads, pita sandwiches and more.
Fresh Fresh Café ($$ | 8 min drive): Smoothie bowls, cold-pressed juices, and wholesome breakfasts. Everything here is as vibrant as the town itself. A laptop friendly workspace
Vagamundo ($$ | 8 min drive): Coffee shop that provides local specialty coffee, gourmet liege waffles and healthy fresh smoothies to Cabarete
Panaderia Dick ($ | 8 min drive): Pastries, baguettes, and the best croissants on the North Coast

Bombitas (Grocery-) Your friendly local mini-market for daily essentials. It’s where locals grab their morning water, fresh fruit, and that last-minute bottle of rum before sunset.
Janet's Grocery Store (Grocery) - Janet's Supermarket is the main grocery store in Cabarete, It caters well to tourists with a variety of products and moderate prices and they deliver
• Mofongo: Mashed plantains, garlic, and pork cracklings.
• Tostones: Crispy, twice-fried plantain slices, often served as a snack.
• Sancocho: A comforting, rich stew featuring various meats and vegetables.
